Definición
Mans que se situa entre dues crosses i, amb els braços estirats, subjecta la cama dreta d'un segon i la cama esquerra d'un altre segon.

  • En els castells amb folre el vent se situa en el folre i fa el mateix amb les cames de dos terços.
  • La denominació dau és pròpia de Valls, Tarragona i Reus.
  • Segons l'ordre de col·locació dels vents a la pinya, s'anomenen primer vent, segon vent, tercer vent, etc.
