Neoloteca

The Neoloteca is a neologism library that contains all technical and scientific neologisms standardised in Catalan by the TERMCAT Supervisory Council, with definition and equivalents in other languages.

The Supervisory Council establishes the Catalan form for each term through study that takes into account linguistic, terminological and social criteria, as well as the opinion of experts in the particular field.

Certain non-adapted loan words are marked by a code between brackets that indicates the language of origin in order to facilitate pronunciation.

Currently the Neoloteca contains 10,663 terms.
