Terminologia de la ciberseguretat (‘Terminology of cibersecurity’) gathers more than 360 terms related to the attacks, the technical security means and the social behaviours associated with this domain, cryptocurrency, as well as the technologies that have a significant impact on cybersecurity policies. Each terminological entry contains a denomination in Catalan; synonyms, if there are any; equivalents in Spanish, French and English; a definition and explanatory o exemplifying notes when deemed necessary.

This work is the result of a collaboration between TERMCAT, Agència de Ciberseguretat de Catalunya, the Information Security Centre of Catalonia, and other experts in the field who are referenced in the Work team document.  Since the cybersecurity domain is key in the digital society, this project seeks to provide a compilation of terminology that is open to updating and that will facilitate the communication in Catalan in this domain and will contribute to the understanding and spreading of the most relevant concepts.

The nomenclature selection has focused mainly on the terms that are exclusive of cybersecurity and the technologies that have a special incidence on it.

Clicking on "Consulta de termes" ('Term search'), terms can be looked up in three ways: using the alphabetical indexes (there is a different index for each language), using the thematic index, or making simple or advanced searches in the upper space "Text de la consulta" ('Text search') in any of the dictionary languages.
