Consulteca - Presentació

Consulteca is an online dictionary in progress. It gathers terminological files elaborated by TERMCAT deriving from queries adressed to Servei de Consultes (‘Advice Service’) and from specific researches carried out by our terminologists. The dictionary aims to make specific terminological research available to users. Terms included in Consulteca are not included in any other dictionary.
In this sense, we would like to underline the possibility to check the latest additions to the dictionary just by clicking the option displayed beside the alfabetical and thematic indexes. Latest additions include files which have been elaborated during the last quarter year. Consulteca is therefore a dictionary in progress and regularly updated with questions, contributions and suggestions made by Cercaterm users.
The concept diagram of Consulteca is a particular one, because it is an adaptation of TERMCAT general classification of domains and contains a great variety of subject fields.
Clicking on “Consulta de termes” (‘Term search’), terms can be looked up in three ways: either using the alphabetical indexes (available in Catalan, Spanish, French and English), or using the thematic access, or making simple or advanced searches in the upper space “Text de la consulta” (‘Text search’) in any of the dictionary languages. You can also click on “Noves incorporacions” to know the latest additions.
