The Vocabulari internacional de metrologia consists of the terminology of the translation to Catalan language of the International Vocabulary of Metrology. Basic and General Concepts and Associated Terms, 3rd ed. (VIM3). This work vas translated in 2012 by the Catalan Association of Clinical Laboratory Sciences and terminologically advised by TERMCAT.
The vocabulary gathers 144 terms related to metrology. Each term is defined and its equivalents are given in Spanish, French, English and Portuguese; also includes the reference code of the section that identifies each term in VIM3. Some terms also provide conceptual notes or examples.
Clicking on Consulta de termes (‘Term search’), terms can be looked up in three ways: either using the alphabetical indexes (there is a different index for each language), or the thematic access, or making simple or advanced searches in the upper space Text de la consulta (‘Text search’).
