The terms included in this collection come from the Diccionari de procediments culinaris (‘Dictionary of Culinary Processes’), made by Juli Blanco González, Francesc Papió Aznar and Lluís Ignasi Vilà Miquel, with the terminological support of TERMCAT. The dictionary, published by TERMCAT in 2005 with Alcampo’s sponsorship, gathers and defines 343 Catalan terms related to culinary processes and actions occurring while they are taking place.

Clicking on "Consulta de termes" ('Search term'), terms can be looked up in two ways: using the alphabetical indexes (there is a different index for each language), or introducing a term in any language in the upper space "Text de la consulta" ('Text search'); this second option allows simple or advanced searches.
