Terminologia de la visualització de dades

At the time of intoxication and big data, a new field between data science, journalism and design has emerged in order to communicate information and complex ideas in a clear, understandable, accurate, efficient and, specially, visual way. It is what we know as data visualisation.

This dictionary gather about fifty terms in Catalan, Spanish and English, with notes and images, if necessary, related to the main visualisation formats.

The work is the result of the collaboration between TERMCAT, the Government of Catalonia Ministry of the Presidency and the company OneTandem.

Clicking on "Consulta de termes" (‘Term search’), terms can be looked up in two ways: using the alphabetical indexes (there is a different index for each language) or making simple or advanced searches in the upper space "Text de la consulta" (‘Text search’) in any of the dictionary languages.
