Vocabulari multilingüe de la sida

This dictionary contains more than 400 terms related with the infection by HIV and AIDS that are commonly used in the healthcare field. You can find terms related to biological characteristics of HIV, clinical and epidemiological aspects of HIV / AIDS or disease treatment. Every term is given in seven Romance languages (Catalan, Spanish –variants of Spain and Mexico--, French, Galician, Italian, Portuguese –variants of Portugal and Brazil-- and Romanian), including the part of speech, and in English.

Clicking on "Consulta de termes" ('Search term'), terms can be looked up in two ways: using the alphabetical indexes (there is a different index for each language), or introducing a term in any language in the upper space "Text de la consulta" ('Text search'); this second option allows simple or advanced searches.

This dictionary has been made within the framework of Realiter (Pan-Latin Terminology Network), created as an initiative of the Latin Union, whose aim is to enhance the development of Romance languages. The project has been coordinated by TERMCAT, who has provided the initial nomenclature in Catalan, Spanish, French and English.
