Diccionari d’enginyeria civil (‘Dictionary of civil engineering’) collects 3.470 terms related to civil engineering, specifically construction engineering, ground engineering, cartographic engineering, hydraulic engineering, environmental and health engineering, marine engineering, and transportation engineering. Each entry contains Catalan denominations and definitions, term equivalents in Spanish and English, and, eventually, explanatory notes. Some entries include a more complete description of the concept, together with the definition.

This is an online version of Diccionari d’enginyeria civil, published in 2005, and developed by Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Polytechnic University of Catalonia), and Enciclopèdia Catalana (Catalan Encyclopedia), with the terminological advice of TERMCAT and the contribution of many field experts.

Clicking on "Consulta de termes" (‘Term search’), terms can be looked up in three ways: using the alphabetical indexes (there is a different index for each language), using the thematic access or making simple or advanced searches in the upper space "Text de la consulta" (‘Text search’) in any of the dictionary languages.
